Church Planting & Church Growth Workshop – April 13, 2013

The Southern Ohio Pastors Coalition is very excited to announce our first SOPC Workshops event, Church Planting & Church Growth, with special guest Nick Nye.

Location:  Christ’s Community Church, Portsmouth, Ohio

Registration:  Registration will begin at 8:30am on the day of the conference (cash, check, and credit card accepted), or you can pre-register using the PayPal button below.

Cost:  $10.00 per registrant

About the speaker:  


Nick Nye is the founder and lead pastor of Veritas Community Church in Columbus, Ohio. Veritas began in October 2008 and has grown from a few people to a multi-campus church seeking gospel transformation for the city. Nick preaches primarily at the Short North campus as well as various speaking engagements around the world.

As pastor, Nick has formed the anti-human trafficking ministry, She Has A Name, and an annual men’s conference, Act Like Men, that draws hundreds of men from all over the region every year. Nick is involved in many neighborhood initiatives and is constantly meeting with Columbus’ leaders for city development. Outside of Columbus, Nick serves on the board of the Sojourn Network, a national church planting network built around common identities and DNA.

Nick holds a B.A. in world religions, an M.Div. in missions and is pursuing a Ph.D. in leadership. He has two certifications in coaching and coaches church leaders around the world.

Nick lives in the Short North Arts District of Columbus with his wife, Brittany, and three children, Viola, Charlotte, and Simone.
